About MonkeyMom

MonkeyMom is built by Li Laiqun, formerly a tooling engineer at Qualcomm and MediaTek.

MonkeyMom is an AI script factory that lives inside a browser userscript manager. Describe what you want in plain language, and a child script is generated and run on the current page right away. Nothing to upload, nothing to review, and what you save stays available.

Li Laiqun is a tooling engineer, formerly at Qualcomm and MediaTek, where he built internal toolchains and automation. He now works on MonkeyMom independently, turning "the browser already ships a JavaScript engine, and AI can write code" into something an ordinary user can actually use.

The motivation is plain: many needs are only a small automation away. Building a userscript for each one is not worth it, waiting for someone else to build it is not realistic either, and AI has pushed the marginal cost of the first option close to zero.

What the project cares about

  • Compatibility is measured, not assumed. Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey, Stay for Safari, Userscripts and Via on mobile each implement the GM API differently — return values, callbacks and failure modes all diverge. The project ships a probe matrix and designs its child-script bridge against what the probe found.
  • The script is yours. Generated scripts export as standard userscripts and keep working in any manager, with no lock-in.
  • Mobile counts too. Desktop extensions do not exist on mobile browsers, and userscripts are one of the few extension mechanisms left there.
